Bad Weather California’s Band Bio on Gigbot is about the coolest thing I’ve heard. At least since the VP debates last night.

This was a fun show, but Santogold didn’t seem much more than a high school talent show or cheerleader routine. I don’t like being a naysayer, and maybe it was because she usually has a band with her that it seemed that way? I just felt like it was halftime of the basketball game back in high school where my cheerleader girlfriends press play on the boombox and do their scripted routine. maybe the school girl uniforms helped inspire that in me.

I never understood why he was wearing what appeared to me a sleeping mask during the whole show. maybe the metaphor was lost on me…. but they all did play with wreck-less abandon. The best show of the night it was.

This show was great. Xavier’s music was harder and more amplified than what I have heard at previous shows. Maybe because he was feeding off the crowd, which was big and bouncing. I’d never been to the Fillmore either, it was impressive- and maybe Xavier was feeling it too. His didgeridoos were were blowing people away with their energy. and the crowd was giving it right back.

Found you here on Gigbot. Monolith was rad. Still lamenting on the Avetts. I uploaded some photos of them boys. dang they look good.

For me this was the best show of the show hands down. it was unbelievable. the rock it and they look good doing it. the full package.
