Indeed this was a GREAT show. It’s about time The Notwist made it to Denver!

Now don’t get me wrong, I love the Bluebird as a venue, but nearly every show I go to there has some horribly rude or just plain ill-willed individual(s). And typically results in my obtaining massive bruises and getting drenched in other people’s alcohol. Because of the obvious lack of security competence [referring especially to The Islands show], I now go there prepared for the worst.

But enough ranting. I too just about shat myself from severe giddiness when I saw the Wii remotes…it was right up there (in my book) with Tom Waits’ Strata Dumpster!

(I don’t know why the type is like that in the second paragraph…I’m confounded.)

Judgement Day absolutely blew me away! Having never hearing them before last night, the only thing I can liken their sound to is Atlan Urag (e.g. one of my FAVORITE BANDS OF ALL TIME!).

I also greatly enjoyed seeing Margot & the Nuclear So & So's and David Vandervelde again...they were a treat to have in Denver!

That would indeed be a glorious end!
