Fleet Foxes next wednesday….. this gonna be epic like that intro text in the Star Wars movies. I’ve never been to the Oriental Theatre. It is good? I hope it is a good place to get all emotional via the ‘Foxes six-stringed boxes of agrarian grief choral dirges. epic.
The Oriental has a cool atmosphere, but really deep, boomy sound. Saw Black Moth Super Rainbow there, which was a great show, but I think it would have been better at a better-sounding place.
I recently saw the fleet foxes in Texas and the jokes they told in-between songs were just as good as the music was.
So, I know I say it all the time but- Don’t miss this show!
