Artist MySpaceEdwards has recorded his first solo effort under the name Woven Hand with 16HP producer Robert Ferbrache… The record will be released in February, but so far only in Europe on Germany’s Glitterhouse Records… Edwards has turned his attention to Woven Hand, which was named after several images of hands being held together—for prayer, to help another person, or as a display of love. Woven Hand will sound like a sparse version of 16HP because Edwards wrote the material with the band in mind. He plays all the instruments on the record, and will be accompanied live only by his friend Daniel McMahon on pump organ, guitar and mandolin… “If someone heard it, they would think it was 16 Horsepower music, just because, I am singing, and it’s an identifiable sound,” said Edwards. “I can never really separate anything like that anyway. What I write is what I write. If it gets used for 16 Horsepower or something else, there is no difference
