Forged in 2002 from shards of Blackend Goat Tongue, Vile Rune, and Black Lamb. The name Turambar comes from the old speech of elves, meaning: Master of doom. Beneath this banner is ridden the cosmic darkness, moulding wails of screaming tone into bluesy metallic psychedelia. Picture, vividly, Black Sabbath drowned through a gallon of cough syrup; Motorhead thrust back into the bitterness of the Dark Ages; viking chieftans roaring soulfully into the slow thunder of today’s apocolypse. Riff after sluding wail are sculpted into a tangible, earth-shaking art. And the art prevails. A new rock has risen…one that is for the spirit that is in all and is all.
