Artist MySpaceTo get the full story of THE THREATENED you must go back to the spring of 2005 when childhood friends Justin (vocals) and John (drums) began jamming with high school friends Scott (guitar) and Mike (bass). After a few months of casually jamming at Pauly’s Percussion Palace, Justin accepted a position fronting a local cover band that had its sights on conquering the Denver landscape. After Justin’s cover band lost its guitarist, Scott was the first person Justin called to fill the spot. After several gigs and positive reviews both Scott and Justin began to desire more. Their passion for creating their own music and leaving their own legacy became to much to overcome. So in Dec. ‘07 Justin and Scott decided to break out on their own. Remembering the special and unique chemistry that they had 2 years earlier in Pauly’s Percussion Palace meant only one thing. Two phone calls later, John and Mike joined the fold and THE THREATENED was born. Drawing upon all of their influences they hope to create their own sound that remains unique to Denver. Writing catchy, heavy , and melodic music, THE THREATENED appear to have all of the elements for success. With their powerful vocals and solid musicianship they hope to bring melody back to heavy music!
