My Body Sings Electric
Artist MySpaceMy Body Sings Electric is a five piece hailing from the great state of Colorado, whose music is as abstract as it is intense. “It’s like surfing on a shiny wave of broken glass,” says guitarist Jeff Fedel, “Its Space-core!” The band strives to create music with the beauty and spacey-ness of your favorite Mars Volta and Circa Survive songs, built in with the energy and technical brilliance of bands like Protest the Hero and Dance Gavin Dance.
The band boasts an extremely energetic live show, which is a perfect venue to showcase the individual talent from each member. “Each one of us is so in tune with our instrument, we can each bring our own style and dynamic to the band,” says guitarist Nick Crawford. Drummer Kalen Bigg and bassist Jason provide more than enough sharp rhythms to the sound, while guitarists Crawford and Fedel work to stretch their guitar playing beyond the imagination. Throw in the catchy and intense vocals from Whalen and it is easy to see why the band has already begun to collect a following.
