MotorHome

Since 2004 Motorhome has been playing up and down the Front Range of Colorado and is proud to call Fort Collins its home. In their short existence, they have opened up for great names like Cross Canadian Ragweed, The Legendary Shack Shakers, Junior Brown and Jerry Joseph. Having been called everything from alt-country to Americana, rock-and-roll to irreverent bluegrass, the band insists on writing music that is true to them and letting the fans decide what to call it.

With the release of their first self-produced/self-recorded album, Motorhome has yet to break their stride. With a live recording and a second album in the works, Motorhome’s sails are at full and the wind is blowing in their direction.

Motorhome consists of Matt Thornton on guitar and vocals, Matt “P-Mann” Mahern on guitar and vocals, Darren Radach on mandolin, Ben Prethrich on bass and John Motley on drums.

“Motorhome shows have a reputation of boozin’ and boogie, mixing acoustic-flavored, mandolin-picking, groovers with loud, blues progression rockers, powered by the vocal harmonies and between song jokes of Thornton and Mahern.”
Joshua Zaffos – Rocky Mountain Chronicle – Fort Collins, Colorado

“Motorhome walks a line between good ol’ Americana, rock and country”
Aaron Davis – Planet Jackson Hole Weekly – Jackson Hole, Wyoming

“Motorhome’s hardcore Americana sound is like comfort music that doesn’t want to be.”
Live Wire – Fort Collins Weekly – Fort Collins, Colorado
