Artist MySpaceThis is a project with a rich history dating back several years. A common vision was shared by a few individuals to create musical perfection by avoiding rules and trends, and setting thier own creative precedent when it came to achieving thier dreams. Through many trials and tribulations, there was a sound being developed that counldn’t be categorized, or placed under any genre-specific umbrella. They found in each other the ability to push harder, and through thier ever changing fluxuations of taste and talents, eventually created the perfect musical equilibrium. Fusing all the best elements from thier backgrounds and themselves, they found what they were looking for. The result is Merlot. This is a band of extremes. With vocals ranging from whispers to shrieks, instrumentals ranging from brutal breakdowns to beautiful solos, there is no cookie cutter formula here…just relentless, honest and in your face emotions…..translated to a musical form. All we can, have, and will ever hope for is that we will have touched you with our music in some way. If we do that, well, we have accomplished our goal.
