Kaddisfly

Kaddisfly is an eclectic five-piece rock band, based in Portland, Oregon. The band has been performing together for roughly five years, the past two of which have seen them touring (for the most part) non-stop. Kaddisfly has ‘officially’ released three albums to date, the first two of which were independent releases, and the latest of which is their first album on Hopeless Records, ‘Buy Our Intention; We’ll Buy You a Unicorn.’

‘It’d be hard to pin the band down with any individual genre tag and that is a refreshing quality to have in this day and age. Whether upbeat and peppy, intelligent and explorative, or somewhere in-between, the music remains enchanting. Clearly this expansive body of work shows just how singular and narrow-minded the current MTV2 darlings really are.’

Kaddisfly’s second album on Hopeless, ‘Set Sail The Prairie,’ will see a release in September of ‘06. Until then, and after that point, the band will continue writing music and recreating it in a live setting.
