Action Figure 8 (n,v, adj): The name, and the alliance of Yuppie Ricardo and Will B, began in August of 2006. One year (and a couple of bewildering Westword articles and equally dumbfounding embraces from audiences and the Denver music community) later, Nicholas Schmidt and Jimmy Giachetti joined, and the band felt like a band, a band that maybe finally deserved the press and the music community hugs. People and papers and magazines and bands and clubs have all continued to be very nice to Action Figure 8, so they think they may be right about deserving it now.
